 Sheikh Nizam Yaqouby is a member of the Shariah Supervisory Board for a number of Islamic banks and institutions where he advises on matters pertaining to Islamic Banking and Finance.
He is also a member of the Islamic Accounting & Auditing Organisation for Islamic Financial Institution (AAIOFI).
Sh. Nizam is an internationally acclaimed scholar in the Islamic banking industry and has been a teacher of Tafsir* since 1976.
He holds a BA in Economics & Comparative Religion from McGill University, Canada and at present is a PhD candidate in Islamic Law at the University of Wales.
