Dr. Abdul Sattar Abdul Kareem Abu Ghuddah is a member of the Islamic Fiqh* Academy. He sits on both the Standard Board and Shariah Board of the Accounting & Auditing Organisation of the Islamic Financial Institutions of Bahrain.

Dr. Abu Ghuddah is also a member of the Shariah Supervisory for a number of Islamic banks and a member of Islamic Accounting & Auditing Organisation for Islamic Financial Institution (AAIOFI).

Prior to his current positions, Dr. Abu Ghuddah held the positions of Expert and Reporter for the Islamic Fiqh Encyclopaedia, Ministry of Awqaf** & Islamic Affairs, State of Kuwait.

Dr. Abu Ghuddah holds a PhD in Shariah from Al-Azhar University.
